What's the role of a Celebrity Guest Judge?

Everybody needs attention and publicity now a days, without publicity you won't be able to survive in the world of glamor. So, there is no doubt why Bollywood celebrities appear at these reality shows. They want to gain popularity in every possible way they can. Have you guys ever wonder what's their use or role at a talent show where their appearance hardly matters to the contestants. Every year I see the Bipashas and the Johns are coming to the "Indian Idol Show" but they are just doing the same thing what they do in their non sense movies. Yeah!! you are right I am talking about either they just come to dance like a "Item girl or a boy" with the contestants or they are making silly non sense comments about something on which they don't even have any kind of knowledge. Some of them are even worse, they only come to promote their upcoming movies. My request to all these celebrities would be, "Please spare these reality shows" you have other mediums such as news papers, magazines - why you have to come to a reality show to promote your crap!! movies. The show organizers only bring them to increase the TRP of the show, but why would you need celebrities to do that if there are quality participants featuring in your show your show's TRP will automatically increase. Moreover the main objective of the "Indian Idol Show" is to promote new talents rather than providing a platform to non sense celebrities for further fame.

I guess I have provided enough reasons for you guys that why this show should be banned. All these seems like a perfect script of a movie and everybody is playing ther part very well. This show is a curse to our society. It killing our youth generation. They are being deviated from the real thing of their lives. Stop it please!!

Promises are made to be broken

Banning reality shows like "Indian Idol" is obvious for the people of our country and after reading this post I hope most individuals will agree with me.

We have heard many promises had been made to some of the contestants by our judges and celebrity guest judges during their performances at the "Indian Idol show" but none of those are actually kept in reality. There's one incident I would like to mention as it was also published on some of the well-known newspapers. I hope you all will remember the promises made by Farah Khan to Rahul Saxena after the latter's exclusion from the contest, it was promised to Rahul that he will be doing playback singing in the Farah's forthcoming movie. I wonder whether that has ever happened. We have seen Anu Malik (Who's trying to be the next Simon Cowel) should join acting as his melodramatic act onscreen is getting crappier day by day. Since first "Indian Idol" contest he has made so many contestant a superstar I have almost lost count, but in reality I wonder how many of them have actually worked with Anu Malik.

Ever wondered why Sonu Nigam never wanted to be the judge of "Indian Idol Show" after his appearance in the first season of the show. I don't think any of us know it. But there's rumors Sonu left only because of the reason that he was totally pissed off on the show organizer's who were unable to keep their promises made by them to the contestants.

I think if you are unable to keep your promises then what's the point of running a show like "Indian Idol" where people actually come to make their dreams come true with so much believe but actually left disappointed in the end.

Indian Idol: The Judges

My eyes are causing troubles for the last few days and it is kind of difficult for me to look at the monitor for long hours. However it is not as bothering as the "Indian Idol show" so finally I got myself together and started writing my next post. Sitting at the office cubicle and writing against "Indian Idol Show" is very risky cause most of my colleagues are very much fond of the show, and you know in our country saying something which is against the trend - is like getting yourself banned forever.

The Judges or the Puppets or the Jokers:

Whatever!! It really doesn't matter to me if I get banned, cause I am not like those kind who'd rather compromise with a situation and keep quite which is wrong for everyone instead of reacting to it.

Now comes the judges, I would rather call them a bunch of jokers at the "Indian Idol" circus. Yeah!! they are the ones turning the show into a circus, making the participants as Trapeze players and they entertains us by their acts and comments like a joker.

What is their functionality in this show except selecting candidates at the initial stage. I mean if each and every participant's fates depend on public voting then what's the point of having those judges who's got nothing to contribute. This year in the judges panel there are four people - Anu Malik, Javed Akhtar, Kailash Kher and Sonali Bendre. Obviously there is no doubt over the kind of musical knowledge Anu Malik, Javed Akhtar and Kailash Kher and their opinions do matter a lot but what's Sonali Bendre doing there, has she ever played an musical instrument or does she have any music album. Don't these TV channel guys understand that these people's opinion matters a lot when it comes to decide a candidate's fate in the contest. What if public get influenced by Sonali's (Who's not even connected to music by any means) bad remarks about a candidate and we end up loosing a very talented musician then who'll be responsible for this. I really don't support of having judges in the final rounds of the show. It really doesn't make any sense to me.

Why you should boycott Indian Idol

Today just when I was taking a sip from my peg of rum I heard few voices singing some of the very popular Hindi songs, when I looked at the Television screen I saw that some unnamed singers with ambitious dreams in their eyes are passionately singing those songs. Then I realized that Oh!! this is the famous "Indian Idol Show (Season4)" is going on. Oh shit!! I couldn't stand the show any longer. I have been watching it from the first season and I couldn't find a single IDOL whom people can actually can idolize. I have been thinking of writing about the crappiest reality shows I have ever seen and finally got the time and enthusiasm to make it live. I don't know whether my fellow bloggers and visitors will agree with me as most us love to follow trends in our country India and I hope none would dare to change it. Please check back for more reasons to avoid the "Indian Idol Show"
